“Facit indignatio versus”: it was indignation that motivated these paintings by Giovanni Crescimanni

In Italy we have experienced a number of massacres, of which very little has been made clear, but with the passing of time it has become evident that the real perpetrators were other than the ones indicated in the official reports (as for example in the massacre of Piazza Fontana in Milan in 1969).
It took the second world war, with millions of dead, to understand that the Reichstag fire had been organised by the Nazis to consolidate their power and to subjugate Europe. September 11 provoked the war in Afghanistan and in Iraq and also legislation which has reduced personal liberty in the U.S.A., and to a certain extent also in Europe.

Many people contest the official version of events because:

    • The twin towers were built with exteriors of titanium steel and planned to resist earthquakes, hurricanes and aircraft impact. The external part was the bearing structure and in fact, after having been hit by the planes the skyscrapers swayed for four minutes but didn't collapse.
    • No skyscraper with a steel structure has ever collapsed in a fire. For example, in Madrid a skyscraper burnt for two days but its steel structure did not collapse.
    • Most of the kerosene was burnt up at the moment of impact and the fire blazed only on the top floors. The towers collapsed in the space of ten seconds; from a height of 400 meters, roughly equivalent to a free fall with no resistance from the eighty floors below the burning part of the skyscraper. (Almost an instantaneous ceding of all the floors at the same time)
    • The way in which the towers collapsed seems more in line with a controlled demolition declared Matthys Levy (Department Director of Structural Engineering at the Academy of Engineering, U.S.A.)
    • The damage to the Pentagon and the scarce fragments of wreckage found at the site do not seem consistent with the type of Boeing which apparently crashed there. And so, what hit the Pentagon, and why? And what happened to flight 757 n° 77 and its passengers?
    • International normatives provide that any aircraft which does not follow its planned route must be intercepted by the defence forces. Why did this not happen on September 11?

The serious nature of what happened on September 11, and all that has proven consequent to the tragedy impels people interested in the defence of democracy to expect clarity in the matter, and clear answers to the many doubts that the official version of events elicits.
