Giovanni Crescimanni was born in Tirana to a Sicilian father and Venetian mother.
He lives and works between Rome and Val d’Orcia (Siena), where he passes a large part of his time.
He has a degree in electronic engineering but always simultaneously cultivated his passion for painting, exploring design techniques at the academy of Brera in particular in the paintings of Francesco Guardi after having worked in the principle companies in the informatica sector, he decided in 1995, due to growing recognition and critical acclaim, to dedicate himself exclusively to painting.
In 1995 his first personal exhibition “Le Mutazioni” was held in the “L’ECLISSE” gallery in Rome.
